The website’s SEO influences its ranking on search engines. A high-ranking site generates more visibility, leading to more revenue. According to the recent SERP report, a top-ranking site has the most click-through rate. The first organic search result in Google has an average of 28.5% of CTR. You can increase the CTR to 46% with site navigation and reference links.
At position 1st, the click rate is about ten times higher than other links.  To have your Magento store on the first page of a search result: the web page must be optimized. Now the concern is what can be done to boost the search engine of your Magento store ranking:
1. Optimize the Structure Web Address:
There are five parts of any web address or URL
- Encryption protocol (https://)
- Sub domain
- Second level domain
- Top-level domain (.com)
The URLs optimized for SEO are short and keyword-rich. Parts of the URL have to be accurate & SEO-friendly. Online tools for text and caption optimization can be used for keyword-rich and SEO-friendly selection of tags and captions, as they show the overall searchability and visibility of those keywords.
2. Avoid Duplication of Content:
Pages created with seemingly similar content can result in several complexities in search engine results and, occasionally, even penalties like the outdated version of pages showing in Search Engine Result Pages (SERPs), fluctuations or decreases in core site metrics (traffic & rank positions), other unexpected actions by search engines as a result of confusing prioritization signals
Similar content also makes it hard to filter & sort products. The same product may be added to many categories.
A few ways to remove duplicate content include:
(1) Colonial tags – for categories & products
(2) Robot.txt – It informs search engines not to crawl certain pages that have duplicate content
(3) Category and product URL suffix. 
3. Meta Tagging:
Meta tags are used if you want to exclude a page, or pages, from being indexed by search engines and would prefer them not to show in search results.
By adding the ‘no index’ meta tag to the HTML code of the page, you are effectively telling the search engine that you don’t want that page(s) to be shown on SERPs. This is the preferred method for Robots.txt blocking, as this methodology allows for more granular blocking of a particular page or file, whereas Robots.txt is often a larger scale undertaking.
Although this instruction can be given for many reasons, Google will understand this directive and should exclude the duplicate pages from SERPs.
